The Government has announced it's plans to create the largest solar energy plant in the world in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
The move comes after the Government's announcement to delay the Emissions Trading Scheme until 2011, as an attempt to honour their commitment to spend $4.5 billion on reducing carbon pollution and follows calls from the head of the UN for decisive international action on climate change.
Sign our petition calling on the Government to invest in renewable rather than polluting energies.

The Rudd Government have announced dramatic changes and ultimately a delay to their deeply-flawed emissions trading scheme (ETS) in a move designed to once more please big businesses rather than tackle the issue of climate change.
Changes announced include a delayed start to the scheme until 2011, a fixed $10 per tonne price for carbon and the prospect of a 25% reduction target heavily dependent on international agreement at Copenhagen in December.
Once more the Government is stalling on real action on climate change and instead increasing compensation for polluting industries.
