Close the Gap

Campaign Update: In March the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition added their signatures in support of the Close the Gap Coalition's plan to end the 17-year life expectancy gap. Indigenous Australians have a life expectancy almost twenty years lower than other Australians. That's unacceptable.

This is our one chance, as all the relevant groups meet with the Government this week, to ensure another Australian generation isn't condemned to third-world health conditions.

The solutions exist to close the health gap - it's a matter of political will. The Close the Gap Coalition has released a detailed plan, and we're calling upon all politicians to commit to it.
