The world is meeting in Copenhagen to decide the future of our planet but our politicians at home are still bickering over Australia's role. They need to see that Australians care about climate change - a huge gathering this weekend will do just that.

What should we bring to the walks?

At a pivotal moment in the Copenhagen conference, we will send our serious message by making a fashion statement and creating a FAB festival vibe. So wear orange and be creative--think crazy hats, feather boas, that old tie from the back of your wardrobe. Bring anything that makes a noise--drums, horns, kazoos. The most FAB will win prizes!

Or meet up with the GetUp group and we'll help you get into the party, with flags, glitter and zinc. Bring a spare plastic bottle so we can help you make maracas. And of course, bring sun protection and a water bottle.

Why FAB?

A legally Binding treaty will commit countries to specific emissions cuts. To avoid dangerous climate change we need these cuts to be Ambitious. Developing countries need a Fair treaty that helps them adapt to climate change and find clean development pathways. Only a FAB treaty will solve the climate crisis. What is the Walk Against Warming?

The Walk Against Warming is an annual event organised by the State Conservation Councils to call for strong action for climate change. This year will see the biggest Walks Against Warming yet, rallying 50,000 people across the country. A huge, vibrant turnout at this crucial moment will send a message to Kevin Rudd that all countries must do their fair share at Copenhagen.
