GetUp have launched the next stage of our Stand Up For Tibet campaign with an advert urging the PM to speak out against human rights abuses in Tibet. The advert is scheduled to be screened before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games tomorrow.
Donate now to get the advert on the air! Mr Rudd has confirmed that he plans to discuss the matter again with the Chinese Government on his trip for the Olympics. In the next stage of our Stand Up For Tibet campaign, GetUp and the ATC have launched an advertising campaign - Olympic silence is not golden to urge Mr Rudd to stand up for the rights of Tibetans during his visit to China for the Olympic games this week.

A green carbon report released by the ANU has revealed the true role that trees can play in solving climate change. The report looked at half of Australia's remaining forests and estimated a total storage of around 33 billion tonnes of CO2 - almost tree times previous estimates.
