The Tasmanian state election result is in -- and no Government has enough seats to form Government on their own. Tasmanian voters sent a clear message on clean Government and a new approach to saving Tassie's forrests. See the election results here.
Also this week, the Federal Government decided to delay a vote that would see reform of Australia's electoral laws, allowing thousands more Australians to vote. At this stage it appears Senator Fielding is still considering whether or not to support the bill. The Copenhagen Conference has come to a close. The result was disappointing, but the conference showed how GetUp members can make an impact, including giving a voice to the voiceless, by sponsoring 5 young Pacific delegates to attend the conference.
