This election almost 1 in 5 Australians walked away from the major parties and voted for minor parties and independents.
Now it seems that independent and Green MPs will hold the balance of power in the Parliament, and determine who forms government.

Undecided voters in marginal seats will decide the outcome of this election.
Can you chip in to make sure our Issue Scorecard is in the newspapers in marginal seats this Friday and that it's the last thing voters see before walking into the polling place? We have newspaper spots lined up and GetUp members ready to hand out Scorecards on Election Day, click here to help out.
Earlier this month, the High Court ruled in favour of two courageous GetUp members who stood against unfair Howard-era electoral law.
