Australia is blocking a global climate deal, and we need to act fast.

Next week, finance ministers from the OECD countries will meet to agree to stop financing coal power plants. This will be the last chance for a deal to restrict coal financing before the Paris UN Climate Summit.

This is a critical deal for a safe climate - coal power plants are the dirtiest form of electricity. Constructing new ones locks in decades of carbon pollution we can't afford. This deal would help shut down these dirty old clunkers and pave the way for increased investment in clean energy.

The deal needs to be agreed on by all 34 OECD countries. Right now only Australia and South Korea are obstructing progress.

Can you contact Malcolm Turnbull and ask the PM to do better and support this vital deal for a safe climate?
