A publicly-funded Reef-killing project
Multinational mining company Adani have been unsuccessfully trying to secure finance for their coal mine for years.
Now, Prime Minister Turnbull and Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk are considering making the Australian public foot the billion dollar bill for Adani's rail line, which will transport coal from the mine to the port. This is despite and election promise from both of them that there would be no public funding of Adani's mine.1
Let's hold them to that promise by reminding them voters will punish him for giving public funds to a multinational polluter.
Sign the petition demanding Prime Minister Turnbull and Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk not risk public funds on private infrastucture.
Together, let's call for our money to be spent on saving the Great Barrier Reef, not wrecking it.

KEEP YOUR PROMISE! DON’T GIVE ADANI $1 BILLION IN PUBLIC MONEY
Prime Minister Turnbull and Queensland Premier Palaszczuk,
During the election you said there would be no public funding for Adani. Adani's Reef-killing coal mine is not public infrastructure. Don’t waste public money on it.
