Send Ferrovial a message

Broadspectrum, the corporation that runs the camps on Manus Island and Nauru, has just been bought by Spanish giant Ferrovial. And Ferrovial has just announced that the camps "will not form part of its services offering in the future."¹

It's amazing news, but it's not enough that Ferrovial will stop running the camps at some future point – they must walk away from abuse immediately.

Can you send them a quick email congratulating them on their decision, and urging them to put it into practice immediately?

Your email doesn't have to be long. To begin, a quick 'congratulations' won't go astray - it's genuinely amazing that they've said they'll walk away from the camps in future. Then, urge them to make sure their move away from the camps is immediate.

And if you want to spice it up, you can also remind them that there's a huge movement of people in Australia and all over the world who will be watching to see what they do – and are ready to act.
