#NotAustralia
Last week, former Senior Child Protection Worker at Save the Children on Nauru, Viktoria Vibhakar was in the US for the Women in the World summit.
She shone a light on the Australian Government's treatment of people seeking asylum in offshore detention. It was a platform to call on the international community to condemn the Government's bid to put Australia on the UN Human Rights Council until the camps are evacuated.
But for her words to truly ring loud, we need to prove other Australians condemn it too.
Will you sign the open letter condemning the Australian Government, letting the world know that until Australia evacuates the camps we do not deserve to be a human rights leader?

To the member states of the UN General Assembly,
From Amnesty International to the the UN Commissioner for Human Rights, the verdict has rung out loud and clear: Australia's offshore detention regime is torturous and abusive.
But instead of evacuating the camps, the Australian Government is trying to paper over the abuse, by bidding for a seat on the United Nations Human Rights Council.
This is the council that is meant to protect the very human rights laws the Australian government so flagrantly disregards.
We call on you not to support Australia’s bid for the Human Rights Council until the camps are evacuated.
Until then, #NotAustralia.
