The Federal Government's Murray Darling Basin Authority has released a draft report that recommends far less than the 3000-4000 billion litres of water required to be left in the river to ensure its survival.

Australia's most important river system ends in South Australia, and the state's Premier Jay Weatherill believes the River's health is their most important issue. He's written a letter to GetUp members to ask them to join his call to the Federal Government to follow the science and protect the Murray Darling.
