Save the Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef has just been given its worst ever health rating by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority1.
The number one cause? The climate crisis.
The Morrison government is desperately hoping that if they ignore the truth, everyone else will too.
Australia is the world's 3rd-largest exporter of climate pollution. And just today, we learned that our domestic carbon emissions are still rising. Responsibility for saving the Reef from climate damage starts at home.
The scientists put it best:
"It is important not to lose optimism by thinking the job is too big, or to think that a changed Reef is far in the future — actions taken now will matter."
Will you join the call for every single federal MP to speak up on the climate threat to the Reef - and explain what they're doing to protect it?

SIGN THE PETITION!
To all members of Parliament,
Scientists have confirmed the third major coral bleaching event within just 5 years. This is a crisis for our beloved Great Barrier Reef.
We, the undersigned, have a simple request of our national representatives:
1. Publicly acknowledge that the climate crisis is the number 1 threat to the Great Barrier Reef
2. Back the scientists' call for "early and effective action" to cut the climate pollution that's killing our Reef
