Tell your healthcare story

We're taking the fight for universal healthcare online with one of the most powerful tools in the world – storytelling.

As tens of thousands of Australians rally in the streets today for the National Day of Health Action, we'll flood social media with our personal stories to remind our politicians why we need to protect universal healthcare.
This tool instantly transforms your experience into an image to share online. Imagine the lump in your throat as you see story after story, intertwined on social media, about Australians relying on our healthcare system in times of need.

How become part of the story:

1. Choose an experience or sentiment to share.
Do you have a chronic condition that requires regular clinical care? Has someone you love received treatment in a public hospital? Perhaps preventative treatment or early detection has saved you from a world of pain? Every single story matters.

2. Write your story in the box and watch as the tool transforms it before your eyes. You can edit your text as many times as you like.

3. Add your first name and age in the last box. If you would prefer not to include these details, feel free to simply write anonymous

4. Hit the share button to import your graphic to Facebook. This will bring up a new window where you can add another comment before you share it with the world.

5. Don't have Facebook? Or want to share your story on Twitter or email? You can download the image.

Thank you for being a part of the fight to save our universal healthcare system.

Here are a few examples for inspiration:
