The NSW Berejiklian Government wants to sell off the entire Sydney bus service1. It's a shock move that could slash the wages and conditions of workers, and the public's access to convenient and safe transport.
The Liberals kept their plan to sell off our buses completely quiet during the election because they knew everyday people would reject it.
Now they think they can restart their radical privatisation agenda without opposition – and we'll need a massive outcry from workers and commuters condemning the push to sell what's left of our public transport system, to force the Berejiklian government to think twice.
We should be making public transport cheaper, cleaner, and more reliable – not selling it off to greedy corporations.
