Melbourne: vigil for justice
Thursday 31 May will mark three weeks since a young pregnant mother and her sons were taken from their home to be placed in detention - indefinitely.
Join us for a sunset candlelight vigil for Ranjini, her family and all refugees held in indefinite detention with no right to appeal ASIO findings. The vigil will be held outside Attorney-General Nicola Roxon's office.
Let's show up and demonstrate a powerful message to the Attorney-General and Australian media - we're serious about justice and the need to reform ASIO laws.
When: 5.00pm, Thursday 31 May
Where: The park behind Nicola Roxon's office, 337 Gordon Street Maribyrnong (corner Thomas Holmes St), Melbourne (see map below)
Can't make it? Help light the candle online - sign the petition here.
