Stop the mega fracker!
The Northern Territory Government is facing pressure from every angle to reverse their decision in greenlighting fracking.
It all ramped up on Saturday, when protesters joined Traditional Owners in Darwin at a rally against fracking.
Momentum is rising against the decision, but frackers like Tamboran are storming ahead. Their mega fracking rig will make it's way to the Beetaloo Basin any day now.
Fracking rigs like these can frack a horizontal well four-kilometres long – that's a whopping twenty-five football fields – and have devastated United States communities for years.
To give decision makers the mandate they need to block this terrifying piece of machinery from being used in the Northern Territory, we need hundreds of thousands of signatures – and fast.
Will you sign the petition demanding state and federal politicans do everything in their power to stop this disastrous plan?

The sheer scale of Tamboran's fracking rig means it needs two to four times as much water and toxic chemicals than anything else currently approved in Australia.
Tamboran are working with US-based oil and gas provider, Helmerich & Payne (H&P), who are major investors in Tamboran. H&P make and contract out these rigs across the US. Just like Tamboran, H&P have a murky and worrying history.
Over the years they've pled guilty to making false statements about offshore drilling activity, and faced dozens of penalties, including for several workplace health and safety issues.2
What's more, the US market is dipping, and they're eager to find somewhere else to make money off their destruction.
Digging into some of Tamboran's annual reports, we know they plan to work with H&P to send up to five of these monsters here in the months and years to come. The one that just left Texas for our shores could be used as early as July this year.
That's why we need a massive public campaign to stop them. And it starts here – sign and share the petition!

Dear State and Federal Governments,
We stand with Traditional Owners from across the Beetaloo Basin, and call on you to do everything in your power to stop Tamboran Resources' mega fracker from being used in the Northern Territory.
These fracking rigs have been causing devastation across communities in the United States for years. They can frack a horizontal well four-kilometres long, and they need two to four times as much water and toxic chemicals than anything else currently approved in Australia.
We call on you to protect people, Country, and climate.
